RULES
During the game the player performs the duties of the Chairman of the Central Bank. Under the legislation, the CBA Chairman is appointed for a term of 5 years. This 5-year game is described in 20 steps. Each step consists of one quarter - 3 months.
There are 3 indicators in the game: interest rate, inflation, economic growth. At the start of the game, the initial interest rate is 6, the inflation rate is 7 and the economic growth rate is 8 digits.
It is possible to ma7upDown domenage only the discount rate from the indicators. Other indicators are regulated by increasing and decreasing the discount rate.
There are three types of shock in the game: a sharp increase in oil prices, import prices and public spending. These shocks are not dependent on the player and are casual. The player's objective is to keep the inflation level at the 5.5-8.5% range supported by an acceptable economic growth rate (above 5%) at the end of the mandate period. In other words, at the end of 20 steps you will be re-elected for a next five-year term if your rate of inflation adjusts to the level of inflation and the volume of economic growth. Otherwise, you will be dismissed.
